South Korean UV printer manufacturer Inktec recently invited Mayday Graphic Products to their manufacturing plant for a guided tour and insight to their newest, fastest and technically advanced UV flatbed large format printer.
Mayday Wide Format, managed by Jim Fox, Sales Director, Richard Anderson, Clive Alum and Ben Loombe are one of the largest suppliers of JETRIX flatbed and roll to roll UV inkjet printers in the UK and the first and only JETRIX reseller to sell two RX3200's were invited to the Inktec manufacturing plant at Ansan-si, South Korea.
As a major reseller of large and wide inkjet printing equipment Mayday were primarily invited to take part in a private un-official unveiling of their latest and fastest large format UV printer due for official release autumn 2016.
Inktec who manufacture the JETRIX range of large format printers in addition to an extensive range of associated print products first started trading in 1992. The technical ability of the company soon became apparent to others and Korea's political leaders who, recognising the potential, awarded Inktec several industry awards over a period of just a few years. During the intervening years to the present day the company continued developing the range of UV printers and are today recognised as one of South Korea's leading manufacturers and exporters of UV print technology and supplies, with subsidiaries in California USA and Oxford, United Kingdom.
During the past few years the JETRIX range has, to meet growing demand in the POS advertinging sector, expanded quickly with the updating of the older range of flatbed / roll to roll printers and the development of a dedicated large and 'grand' format roll to roll UV printers. Culminating with the introduction of the RX3200 and RX5000 printer range aimed at commercial, online and POS & advertising sign printers who were quick to wake up to the fact these printers were superior compared to other similar types manufactured by established companies and come with a lower price tag.
As with any new pieces of kit we expect significant interest in the new JETRIX printer to be particulary high and extend an invitation to printers who will likely be looking to add or replace their existing large format plant, to take part in an exclusive pre-launch event of the new JETRIX.
